50 books in 1 year - #2 and #3
These two were read in the Netherlands, in the van, backstage, and in some dodgy bunkbeds.

2) She May not leave By Fay Weldon

Excellent study of middle class mores from the woman who can't decide whether or not she's still a feminist. The ending made me feel angry at the thought of anything like that happening to me, then I remembered it's just a book.

3) Kitty and Virgil By Paul Bailey

Not quite so happy with this one. The dialogue is stilted, the characters ok but no one you'd consider taking to your heart, and even though it's set in the 80's, the style of the book feels like it's set in the dreary 30s.
